The city is also served by the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport, which runs from various areas of Mumbai to Navi Mumbai. The town is connected to other cities by the Thane-Belapur road.
The city is a rapidly growing & developing region. Several new hotels in the city and the first line of the Navi Mumbai Metro will connect the town to the proposed Navi Mumbai International Airport.
